30 Teacher Aides May be Furloughed from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Last month, the board voted to cut 59 district employees, including 31 teachers, through a mix of furloughs and layoffs. In June, 217 positions were cut by the board, including 147 layoffs and furloughs that touched both central office employees and operational support staff across the district of nearly 26,000 students."
